Until what age can you use this MAM soother?
These soothers are recommended for use by babies age 6-12 months. At 12 months we recommend moving up to the 12+ months size, however every baby is different & may vary when they are ready to move on to the next size.
How are MAM soothers cleaned?
Before every use the soother should washed in warm soapy water and then sterilised. Sometimes water may enter the inside of the teat, in these cases squeeze out the water using sterilised teat tongs.
What difference is there between latex and silicone soother teats?
Silicone is synthetically manufactured, free from allergens, has no taste & does not age, but is slightly less bite-resistant than latex.
Latex (or natural rubber) is a soft, natural product. However, latex teats can become sticky & darker with age.
Is the shape of the soother and teat important?
Yes, both the soother shield & teat shape are very important. MAM's orthodontic teats are flat & symmetrical, ensuring that they always fit correctly in babies mouths. Our shields have a clever curve & large air holes, for optimum comfort & air flow.
